Minor in Fraud and Forensic Accounting
The Fraud and Forensic Accounting (FFA) minor is designed for students interested in pursuing a career that involves the investigation of financial crimes. Students will learn the skills necessary to identify financial fraud, how to assess and mitigate the risk of fraud and understanding the processes of the criminal justice system. The required coursework is designed to meet the hiring demands of accounting, banking, investment and insurance institutions as well as federal and state regulatory agencies and law enforcement authorities.
Students should consult with the Chair of the Accounting Department and complete an official declaration of minor form as early as is possible.
