AC370 Case Studies in Fraud
Prerequisite: AC 301
This course helps students understand what constitutes fraud, how prevalent it is, how it is committed, and the techniques that can be used to help identify, prevent and detect fraud. Using the case study approach, students will examine a variety of cases of corporate fraud involving asset misappropriation and corruption. Students will also be required to prepare several cases involving corporate fraud. Students will be encouraged to be inquisitive and think creatively as they examine instances of fraudulent behavior which they may encounter in their professional careers. Offered each year.
