EV300 Introduction to Environmental Science

Prerequisite: BI 101 An introduction to environmental science considered on both a local and a global scale. Course material includes the principles of ecology, the impact of humans on the natural world, major legal initiatives, and attempts to address environmental issues. Laboratory exercises include sampling techniques and analysis of soil and water (class, three hours; laboratory, three hours per week). Offered alternate years.
