MU202 Gregorian Chant Practicum

Instruction in Gregorian chant including semiology (neums and their interpretation), sightsinging of chant, chant repertoire, analysis of nine Gregorian modes and their usage in chanting psalms, as well as select choral pieces, all with an end toward performance in the liturgy.
