NU303 Nursing Care of the Family
This course will provide a foundational understanding of the role of the nurse in assessment, health promotion and wellness during pregnancy, birth and the transition to parenthood. The course will also cover the assessment, growth and development, health promotion and wellness for the child from infancy to adolescence. Alterations in the status of the childbearing family and child health status will be covered.
