HI440 Irish History

This course will survey the history of Ireland from the earliest period to the present. It will engage with major themes, such as religion, identity, and relations between Ireland and her neighbors, particularly Britain. At the heart of the course will be student engagement with a series of primary sources from throughout Ireland's long history.
