NU205 Nursing Therapeutic Interventions
This course is the lab/clinical component of NU 101 where students will apply the foundational knowledge of evidence-based practice and nursing concepts to interventions / Nursing Skills and policies and procedures to promote safe and positive care outcomes. Professional written, oral, and therapeutic communication skills are enhanced, and psychomotor skills are developed for clinical site preparation. This course is up to 50% time in skills lab on campus for 3 hours each lab and the remaining time at the assigned clinical site for 8 hours each clinical day. Students will be assigned to their 205 sections. Students will be placed into their clinical groups by the Clinical Learning Coordinator.
