PH315 Epistemology
This is a course in epistemology, the study of what knowledge is, whether we have any, the different ways of knowing and different objects of knowledge, and the structure of the sciences. As a result, it also studies the nature of truth, cognition, belief, justification, induction, and certainty. Topics may include relativism, skepticism, disagreement, evidentialism, contextualism, virtue epistemology, and social epistemology. Offered every Spring.
