PO376 History of Western Diplomacy II
A one-semester 3-credit hour course that explores the development and evolution of diplomacy and international statecraft in Western Europe from the Early Modern Era (1625) through the nineteenth century. Focus includes reading and analysis of primary source documents produced by contemporary writers and practitioners (Richelieu, Mazarin, Talleyrand, etc.) PO 299 Introduction to International Relations is a recommended prerequisite, but is not required for this course.
