This course examines how medieval thinkers address the nature of education, especially with attention to the young. Authors vary per section but may include Augustine, Boethius, Cassiodorus, Benedict, Gregory the Great, John of Salisbury, Bernard of Clairvaux, and Thomas Aquinas, among others.
