LA105 Propaedeutic Year Latin
Propaedeutic Year (PPY) Latin is a 6-credit accelerated introductory Latin course for incoming SJCS seminarians, designed to fulfill the credit requirements for the BAC Classical Languages Minor before the beginning of the second year of studies. Students attend class every weekday; they participate in an immersion weekend in the fall term and a full week of immersion in the summer following the end of the spring semester. The curriculum is based on Hans Oerberg’s classic textbook Lingua Latina per se Illustrata, chapters 1-33.
