A study of contemporary ideas of political theory, including classical liberalism, socialism, communitarianism, libertarianism, and critical theory. Thinkers considered may include John Rawls, Robert Nozick, Jurgen Habermas, Friedrich Hayek, Hannah Arendt, Leo Strauss, Martin Rhonheimer, and Eric Voegelin.
