B.A. in Psychology

Department Goals (additional, for Bachelor of Arts in Psychology)

6)  Demonstrate knowledge of major theories of mind and human nature, including arguments about free will and identity, through the lens of Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas and contemporary psychology.

Curriculum Requirements

Prospective Psychology majors should take PC201 to satisfy the social science core requirement. PC201 is a pre-requisite for most upper-level psychology courses. Note that MA135 or higher is a pre-requisite for PC300, and ideally will be completed by the end of the sophomore year. Although an internship is not required, it is strongly recommended for (and counts as) a PC upper-level elective for the B.A. in Psychology, B.S. in Psychology and the minor in Psychology.

It is the student’s responsibility to see that all degree requirements for graduation are fulfilled.
