B.S. in Psychology
Department Goals (additional, for Bachelor of Science in Psychology)
6) Understand biological bases of human mind, emotion and behavior; and
7) Understand basic human cognitive processes and how they relate to human behavior and emotion.
Curriculum Requirements
Prospective Psychology majors should take PC201 to satisfy the core social science requirement. PC201 is the pre-requisite for most upper-level psychology courses. Note that MA135 or higher is a pre-requisite for PC300, and ideally will be completed by the end of the sophomore year. MA151 – College Algebra is often the pre-requisite for PY, CH, and MA classes.
It is the student’s responsibility to see that all degree requirements for graduation are fulfilled.
