AR302 Art & Architecture of Africa

This course begins in prehistory and moves around the vast continent of Africa surveying its diverse societies and the artifacts and structures which they contributed. Examples include the Nok culture, Igbo-Ukwu culture, Ife culture, Djenne culture, and Benin culture, among others.
