ED402 Curriculum and Instructional Design

Prerequisite: Admission to licensure program This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for teachers to be curriculum and instructional leaders who make developmentally and academically sound decisions leading to optimal learning. Dominant curricular theories, ideas, and issues are explored. The course focuses on a variety of generic and content-specific design and delivery systems. Particular emphasis is placed on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Offered every fall and spring.
