HS484 Field Work in Addictions 2
Prerequisites: B or higher in
HS384; Junior or Senior status. This course continues the field work in addictions under the supervision of agency staff and College faculty. This is a 180-hour on-site course. While in the placement, students participate in a weekly seminar with Belmont Abbey faculty. Students taking this course may be required to take and pass a background check by the agency. Students are responsible for paying the background check fees. Background check procedures vary by agency, so students will wait until they have been accepted at a placement to complete the background check process. Students concerned about passing a background check should contact the program chair to discuss options. (4 credits)
