HS493W Capstone in Social & Human Services
Prerequisites: Permission of chair.
The capstone course is a comprehensive research project in which the student integrates their theoretical and experiential knowledge from across the Social & Human Services curriculum. Student will identify a social and human service issue or service gap, research the social, cultural and theoretical reasons for the gap, and discuss potential social, cultural, and theoretical solutions in a formal research paper of approximately 25 pages.
