CS101 Introduction to Computer Science

We live in a digital world, and to shape it, you need to understand the systems that power it. This course teaches you not just how computers work, but how they have–and will continue to—evolve. You'll get a taste for coding by building your own website, design AI-powered products, learn how to break down technical problems, and become a wiser digital citizen in the process. Learn more at rize.pub/CSC-1. This online class has optional live sessions, and it is taught through the RIZE consortium and cannot be dropped without informing the Registrar's Office in writing.

This course is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. Instruction is provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.

Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Belmont Abbey College. Students register through Belmont Abbey College and receive academic credit from Belmont Abbey College.
