CS110 Introduction to Video Games

This course provides a general overview of the video game industry and its culture. Students will discuss and critically analyze the role video games play in society and develop media literacy skills as pertains to the concepts and issues that underlie video games. This online class has optional live sessions, and it is taught through the RIZE consortium and cannot be dropped without informing the Registrar's Office in writing.

This course is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. Instruction is provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.

Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Belmont Abbey College. Students register through Belmont Abbey College and receive academic credit from Belmont Abbey College.
