BI307 Nutrition

This course will cover basic concepts in human nutrition including macronutrients, micronutrients, metabolism, digestion and the maintenance of energy balance in the human body. The laboratory portion of the class will cover research methods in nutrition using current scientific literature (Lecture 3 hours per week; Laboratory 2 hours per week). Prerequisites: Cell Biology (BI 201) and General Chemistry (CH 105, 106)
