CJ414 Criminology

Prerequisites: CJ 201, PC 201, and SO 201 or permission of instructor; Junior status This course analyzes types of deviant behavior that are classified as criminal in our society, the relationship between law and justice, types of crime, causes of criminal behavior, proposals for dealing with crime as a social problem, and contemporary sociological theories of crime.
