PC387 Psychology of Violence

Prerequisite: PC 201 or permission of the chair or instructor Psychological and biological approaches to violent individuals; analysis of and research support for understanding the etiology of violence drawn from natural, medical and behavioral sciences and a Catholic-Christian understanding of the human person; including a survey of: gun violence, media violence, criminal violence, media violence, abortion, euthanasia, death penalty, stranger violence, gang violence, school violence, workplace violence, and family and relationship violence including spousal abuse/intimate partner violence, and victimization / treatment.
