HS335 Crisis Intervention

This course focuses on the theory and techniques involved in effectively managing immediate crises experienced by individuals, families and communities. The course is oriented toward practical skills necessary to understand the dynamics of the crisis, assure client safety, interview clients in a crisis, implement appropriate coping strategies, stabilize, and make appropriate referrals.
