HS381 Preparation for Field Work
Prerequisites: Permission from program chair. This one credit course prepares students for their field work experience. Students research potential sites, complete self-assessments and readings on self-care, prepare an appropriate resume, study and practice interview techniques, complete field placement paperwork, initiate interviews with possible placement sites, review literature about the population to be served, and complete the Field Placement Learning Agreement with agency. Placements are arranged by the student and must be approved by Program Chair the semester prior to taking
