BI403 Ecology

Prerequisites: BI 101, BI 201, BI 231 A study of the interrelationships between living organisms or groups of organisms and their environments: terrestrial, fresh water, and marine. Studies of communities and ecosystems emphasize energy flow, biogeochemical cycles, and population dynamics (class, three hours; laboratory, three hours per week). Offered alternate years.
