This course examines the fundamentals of the corporate financial environment with an emphasis on financial managers developing analytical tools that ethically maximize shareholder value. Topics include an overview of financial markets and institutions, financial statement and capital budgeting analysis, valuation of securities, risk measurement, cost of capital, dividend policy, and financial innovations in the industry. Issues related to international financial management are also introduced.
