MBA641 Intro Data Analytics

This course introduces the student to data analysis and statistical tools to improve managerial decision-making. Topics include an introduction to descriptive statistics, sampling methods and distribution, variance analysis, simple and multiple linear and nonlinear regressions, data management, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, regression analysis, modeling uncertainty, and decision analysis. The course emphasizes an ethical approach to conducting analysis and effectively interpreting, communicating and applying the results to support business needs.
