HS371 Program Planning & Evaluation
Prerequisite: C- or higher in HS355 or permission of department chair
This course introduces the students to the essential theories and concepts of needs assessments, program planning, program design, implementation, funding, and evaluation of effectiveness within a social welfare agency. Students will explore ethics and knowledge surrounding the methodology of choosing measurement tools and sampling design, conduct data analysis develop skills in data visualization and reporting, and focus on writing recommendations based on data.
