EN404 Contemporary Literature

Prerequisites: A focus on the development of modern Irish literature, featuring the work of major figures such as Jonathan Swift, W.B.Yeats, James Joyce, and Seamus Heaney. The course will also give some attention to premodern texts that influenced writers of the Celtic Revival in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
