Prerequisites: EN 211, EN 212 Background on drama and its development in the 16th-17th centuries and on Shakespeare’s dramatic works within (and transcending) this historical context. Emphasis on the dramatic genres of tragedy, comedy, history, and romance. Offered as demand warrants.
